raspberry brownies recipe

It’s no secret chocolate and raspberries are one of our favorite pairings. The perfect combination of tart sweetness and dark chocolate is the perfect seasonal indulgence in any form. These rich (and spiked!) brownies are perfect for a summer gathering alongside a scoop of your favorite ice cream.

What you need:

7 oz dark chocolate, chopped

8 oz butter

1 ¾ cups brown sugar

4 eggs

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon baking powder

1/3 cup cocoa, sifted

1 ½ cups raspberries, fresh or frozen

How you make it:

Preheat oven to 355°F. Add chocolate and butter to a small saucepan over low heat and stir until melted. Place mixture in bowl with sugar and eggs. Sift in flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Mix well. Pour into a 9-inch greased cake pan. Top mixture with raspberries and bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
