dark chocolate truffles

The spring season is very nearly upon us, which means Easter is close behind. And what’s a holiday without an appropriately festive way to celebrate it?

Sure, there’s the traditional fare. The malted milk balls, the jellybeans, even the bunny-shaped chocolate. But that is child’s play. (We’ve always found the thought of eating a rabbit while he watches you with his eye a bit off-putting.) Let the kids have their candy—while you enjoy something just a bit more sophisticated.

We wouldn’t dare suggest you ditch the basket this year. In fact, we fully endorse them. Just find a new way to fill them with the things that you love. Mix things up with non-traditional Easter grass and chocolate truffles. If orange kumquat doesn’t get you in the mood for warmer temperatures, then we don’t know what will.
