What’s your favorite pairing? We have a few: Chocolate and citrus is always delightful; so is chocolate and sea salt. So naturally a recipe that brings the three together is destined to be a big hit. This easy recipe is perfect for your next event—as an appetizer or a light dessert.
What you need:
8 medium clementines (you can also use mandarin oranges)
4 oz of dark chocolate, chopped
Fleur de sel
How you make it:
Line a baking sheet or serving platter with parchment paper. In a bowl, peel and segment clementines. Set aside.
Using a double boiler, melt chocolate until smooth. Dip half of each clementine segment into chocolate and place on parchment. Then, sprinkle to taste with sea salt.
Set aside until chocolate hardens. To expedite the hardening process, place in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
